Community Participation Supports

Support and training are provided both at a facility and in inclusive community settings to build work interest and develop skills to lead toward competitive integrated employment. While training is provided at a specific site, weekly opportunities exist for community integration. Community opportunities include structured volunteer activities as well as activities to promote work skills and recreational and community inclusion.

  • Industrial Operations-Subcontracts with business and industry are utilized to provide work experience and training options for individuals preparing for competitive employment. We match the skills of the supported individuals with the production demands of the local community. This occurs onsite at our Work Activity Center at 1000 Lancaster Avenue, Reading, PA.
