Joyce has a Bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and a Master's in Counseling from Youngstown State University. Joyce has been with Threshold Rehabilitation Services since 1999. Joyce has worked in the mental health field for more than 35 years. Prior to joining Threshold Joyce was employed at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, Ohio as a counselor and manager in an inpatient and partial hospital setting working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. At Threshold, Joyce has managed the Partial Hospital program assisting in the implementation of Health Choices into existing medical assistance programs.  She has a strong belief in mental health recovery and helping promote recovery-oriented treatment options.  Joyce was an instrumental role in developing and implementing the Peer Support Program at Threshold. Joyce is a Certified Investigator and Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor.
